Intermediate Course (CANSail 2/3/4)

Prerequisite Experience Required - CANSail 1 Minimum
Improve your dinghy sailing and seamanship in our four-week intermediate level program covering CANSail 2/3/4 Level content depending on your experience. Our Sail Canada certified instructor will help you build on your boat handling skills learned in CANSail 1, teach additional sail theory and introduce you to more advanced sailing skills like - how to fly spinnaker downwind, how to trapeze to promote better boat balance in heavy wind and introductory level racing.

The Intermediate course is taught on National Yacht Club’s fleet of two-person C420 dinghies. This program is a natural continuation of our "Beginner" level and is perfect for those looking to take their dinghy sailing to the next level and develop a solid foundation in the sport. Participants must have completed CANSail level 1 or be able to demonstrate CANSail 1 level skills in order to register for this program.
